Cookie Policy
This page explains how Business Card Generator uses cookies and similar technologies, and lets you manage your preferences for this Site. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
Consent Overview
By default, non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) are not set until you make a choice below. This is implemented using Google Consent Mode v2, which keeps Google Analytics and Google AdSense in a "denied" state for measurement/advertising storage until you grant consent.
Manage Your Preferences
Use the toggles below to choose which optional cookie categories you allow, then select "Save Preferences." You can return to this page at any time to change your choice.
Cookie Categories
Essential Cookies
Strictly necessary for the Site to function and to remember your consent choice. These are not set by Google Analytics or AdSense and do not require consent.
Functional Cookies
Would support optional convenience features (such as remembering a preferred template). Not currently implemented — the toggle above is provided so your preference is ready if this feature is added later.
Analytics Cookies
Set by Google Analytics when consent is granted, to measure aggregate site performance.
Advertising Cookies
Set by Google AdSense and its partners when consent is granted, to personalize the ads shown to you.
Google Analytics Cookies
See our Privacy Policy — Google Analytics section for full details on what is collected and how to opt out globally.
Google Advertising Cookies
See our Privacy Policy — Google AdSense section for full details, including the DoubleClick cookie and Google's ad-serving practices.
Google Consent Mode v2
This Site implements Google Consent Mode v2. Before any Google Analytics or AdSense script runs, the Site sets all relevant consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) to "denied" by default. Your choices above call gtag('consent', 'update', …) to adjust these signals accordingly, and your choice is remembered in your browser for future visits.
Consent Management Platform
[Placeholder] The preference panel above is a lightweight, built-in consent tool suitable for launch. For full regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions (auto-detected geolocation banners, IAB TCF v2.2 support, granular vendor lists, consent logging/audit trail, etc.), we recommend integrating a certified Consent Management Platform such as CookieYes, Cookiebot, OneTrust, or Usercentrics in place of this panel. A CMP can be dropped in here without changing the rest of the Site, since Google Consent Mode v2 signals are already wired up in assets/js/consent.js.
GDPR Consent
For visitors in the EEA/UK, consent is the legal basis we rely on for non-essential analytics and advertising cookies. Consent is opt-in (nothing is pre-checked), specific to each category, and can be withdrawn at any time on this page.
EEA / UK Consent
In line with Google's EU User Consent Policy, visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland must provide consent before personalized advertising or analytics cookies are set. The defaults on this Site are "denied" for these visitors (and, for simplicity, for all visitors) until a choice is made above.
Browser Cookie Controls
In addition to the preferences above, you can control, block, or delete cookies directly through your browser's settings. Refer to your browser's help documentation (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.) for instructions specific to your browser and device.
Withdraw Consent
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by returning to this page and adjusting the toggles above, then selecting "Save Preferences," or by selecting "Reject Non-Essential."
User Rights
See the User Rights, GDPR, and CCPA sections of our Privacy Policy for details on your rights regarding data collected via cookies.
